Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union Volunteers at Optimist Club Family Fun Day

Alpena, MI — Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) staff recently volunteered at the Optimist Club’s Sping Break Fun Day. The event was hosted at the Alpena Fairgrounds Merchant building. Students of all ages were welcome to attend the free event meant for those who remained in Alpena during spring break. There were numerous other local organizations in attendance offering a variety of fun activities for youth and a free lunch was provided.

The credit union provided several activities including Dollar Dog coloring pages, decorate a bank, spin the wheel, financial literacy trivia, and bingo. Students could win prizes like tee shirts, pencils, water bottles, beach balls and more for participating in the activities at the AAACU booth.

AAACU was delighted to contribute to this event for local youth to get out and have some fun right in their own community during spring break. AAACU volunteers enjoyed seeing everyone out having a good time.
